Goal:
The overall goal is to collect comprehensive computerized health data of community membership with its ultimate goals to:
- Empower First Nations to establish their own program priorities at the community level.
- Reduce manual tasks;
- Standardize data collection and recording practices;
- Increase the reliability of health information;
- Reduce the time required to complete reports;
- Improve program planning and evaluation capabilities at the community level, which are particularly relevant to transferred communities; and
- Facilitate a proactive rather than a reactive approach to the management of community health concerns; and
- To improve the flexibility of storage and retrieval of health information.
Objective:
E-Health system objective is to compile computerized data reports/record, which facilitates case management, and the delivery of health services at the community level.
Focus:
Data Collection and Recording
- Reliability of data collection recording practices.
- Maintain and update client health information.
