Foot Care
Goal:
The goal of the Foot Care Program is to provide basic foot care service; education and promotion of foot care practices to the clientele of the community.
Objective:
The overall requirements are that the Foot Care Professional must be a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse, licensed in the Province of Manitoba and in good standing with the regulatory body, and must have completed a foot care course from a recognized Canadian Institute. Importantly, the Foot Care Professional must also have expertise in Diabetic Foot Care.
