Medical Transportation
Goal:
The Medical Transportation Program is to provide a transportation service to the status on reserve registered members who are in need of transportation to and from medical appointments booked by the Medical Transportation Coordinator.
The goal of the Medical Transportation program is to provide a service that meets the needs of people who are requiring this kind of assistance.
Objective:
The objective of the medical transportation is to provide benefits to the First Nation community to access medically required health services to the nearest appropriate facility to the clients described in accordance with the FNIHB General Program Directive, FNIHB Medical Transportation Directive (the "FNIHB Directives") and regional guidelines.
